Embracing the Queen Within (ETQW) has been in existence for sixteen years. As of 2016, our name has changed from Daughters of Esther Inc. to Embracing the Queen Within Int'l Network. We started in Macon, Ga in an apartment. The first program we had was our Annual Christmas Brunch. We blessed three women and their family with gift cards, clothes, shoes, and toys. We chose three women who were living in shelters, and experiencing hardships in their life. We used our own resources to stuff huge stockings. We thank God for Pastor and Lady Wisdom who allowed us to join in with them and their event to share in blessing those ladies.
We partnered with the Macon Rescue Mission providing monthly Bible studies, Make over, suits, and shoes for ladies who have been physically and emotionally abused. We wanted to help women feel good about themselves and to walk away feeling rejuvenated, ignited and inspired to take the world by force.
We had our Annual Honoring Those Before Me Brunch. We honored 6 women that have inspired us working in the local community and in their family to help their loved ones and those around them. Special Thanks to Pastor Reginald and Spring Randolph of Wisdom Ministries Outreach Center. We were able to have a beautiful program of single women with children who have lost many things but yet continue to rise above their problems. They are still going strong today-helping and working in the community.
Our responsibility to the community is to help bring hope to women who have gone through physical, emotional and spiritual abuse. We reach out to those who have lost loved ones, depressed, and experiencing hardship.
We encourage them that there is still hope and with God nothing is impossible!
